Information collection

Information collection is done by phone interviews using previously generated samples.

The Research sample

Ninamedia has developed its own method of phone sampling (the author of the sample plan is statistician and mathematician prof.dr M.Kovacevic, the leading methodologist of Institute of Statistics in Belgrade and the expert for samples with international reputation). The range of operative sample for x-number is determined as stratificant-systematical. Strata represents a part of an area code. The area code is systematically chosen from a computer list of individual phone subscribers' sample is appropriate for population of citizens above 18 years of age.

Standard asymmetries of phone samples (problem of curved structures to specific locations, educational background of a person that is answering the phone) have been effectively solved by several simple and efficient tools. This enabled Ninamedia to reach exact results and foreseen values of measuring of public opinion (references:Volitve po Slovensko, ZPS, Ljubljana , 1993 in comparative sociological and politological analysis Ninamedia was the agency with the most stabilised pre-electoral results, with the best forecast from electoral results and the most constituent researches "equipped" in results that were published in media and in president elections forecast in 1997, Ninamedia showed absolutely the best results; at national assembly elections in the year 2000 we have published the accurate forecast of voting results two days before the elections).

Because of its maximum manipulation ability, the computer file enables forming of numerous specific samples and subpopulation measurements.

Measuring instrument

Measuring instrument is a questionnaire that includes the dichotomous, electoral and open type questions. The questions are suited for telephone research. Numbers of questions that are intended to attain a goal are not limited. Some questions about social-demographic data have been added but they do not affect a research service charge.
